Middleton is actually older than the city of Madison although even many people who own Middleton Homes are actually unaware of that. Known as The Good Neighbor City, Middleton borrowed its name from Middletown, CT. Somewhere along the line the city lost the "w" and tradition blames that on an historical typo… a story that doubtless has been shared around campfires since the days of Martin Van Buren. Middleton is quite literally a straight shot on University Avenue to Madison making living in Middleton and working in Madison a breeze. You are only about 10-15 minutes away from the University campus and the Capitol Square, while having easy access to two major shopping centers. Middleton has its own business region where you can easily park, eat, shop visit the library or even the Mustard Museum. Might I suggest you stop by the Hubbard Ave Diner and get a piece of homemade pie.

A Great Variety of Neighborhoods
There are many fine neighborhoods in Middleton where you can explore a magnificent mixture of Middleton Real Estate and condos ranging in price from moderate to luxury. You really need to see it to believe it. And be sure you check out Middleton Hills… I could go on and on about Middleton Hills but I am going to leave that as a surprise for when you visit.
